  2. Go over bussing, groups, behaviors, times, and assignment for the Field Trip. Hand out the assignment- make sure everyone is clear that the field trip is for a grade.


  1. Pick a topic about Ancient Egypt. Research it and put together a  two minute presentation and teach the class about it tomorrow.


Wednesday-
  1. Make sure everyone has the info for the field trip tomorrow- answer any questions.

Test-
Using your notes from the field trip yesterday prove that Egypt was a civilization. Explain the artifacts that show evidence of the eight characteristics of civilization.

Tuesday- Good news, Watch 3 minute Mesopotamia video and find 8 characteristics of civilization- may need to show it twice.
*The video ends with a clip showing ISIS destroying artifacts- may be a good discussion?

Wednesday-BBB, compare contrast activity?  Mesopotamia (video and article) what medium best describes Babylon/Mesopotamia?

Thursday- Watch Ancient India video find 8 characteristics

Friday- watch Ancient China compare/contrast with India and Mesopotamia
Evaluate: what one is better? Debate? Would you prefer to be a pastoralist?
