The week of Sept. 22:

Monday- CNN Student News, ask questions about social institutions (Pg. 3 of Lesson 7), use brainstorm sheet for Needs of Societies (give different dates or places)

Tuesday- Share good news, Lesson 8- new vocabulary, calendar systems and concept of era, do introduction activity- history of their family, history of the US, begin calendar activity

Wednesday- Geoguesser, quiz each other on vocab., calendar activity (finish), jigsaw read the different articles on calendars and share out with class

Thursday- Share good news, article of the week, quiz each other on vocab., Timeline (all day)

Friday- CNN Student News, vocab. quiz over words 1-44, eras- go over and do activity
